I am a visual artist, and have shown my narrative paintings and drawings throughout the UK and beyond. I was born in Manchester and have lived in Scotland for over 20 years.

My work contains narrative and metaphors and I have developed my own blend of magical realism and expressionism. I seek a balance of both the familiar and strange, easily recognisable and more ‘implied’ elements of detail and ‘otherness’.

I look for the extraordinary in the ordinary and my work is populated by figures, animals and natural forms.
